When we started formulating Wenonah products, we kept running into the same frustrating contradiction: perfecting botanical body care products, then package it in cheap plastic that undermines everything the formula stands for.
So we made a different choice.
Wenonah products come in glass bottles, aluminum containers, and paper packaging. Not because we're trying to win sustainability awards, but because it felt dishonest to do otherwise. If we're asking you to care about what goes on your skin, we should care about what holds it.
We're not perfect—lotion pumps still require a small plastic component we haven't found a quality alternative for yet. But 98% of our packaging is plastic-free and sustainable. We're transparent about the 2% we're still working on.

Wenonah Body Lab is dedicated to the formulation of synthetic-free, petroleum-free, animal free, and natural body care products. We strongly believe that plant powered ingredients are the best way to achieve skin nourishment, restoration, protection and beauty. We also strongly believe that synthetic chemicals DO NOT belong in beauty or food products. Many synthetic chemicals are also not biodegradable and pollute the environment. The reason synthetic and petroleum based ingredients are commonly used in skin care products is because they are less expensive then natural ingredients and have an unnaturally long shelf life.
